Henry Williamson Society Online Bookshop
Welcome to the Henry Williamson Society's new Online Bookshop. We think it a great improvement on our previous one, and feedback is welcome – please email webmaster@henrywilliamson.co.uk with your comments.
Payments are made through PayPal, but please note that you do NOT need a PayPal account – PayPal will accept your credit or debit card.
The Henry Williamson Society's Online Bookshop sells the Society's print publications (those that are still available), second-hand books, back numbers of many of our journals, and some non-book Society merchandise.
Our entire publication list (some twenty books) has been converted to e-books, which are offered in the industry standard file, now compatible to Amazon's Kindle.
We carry an extensive range of second-hand books: books by and about Henry Williamson together with some related titles, including books by Richard Jefferies. We do not specialise in first editions and collectors items (though they may appear); our intention is to offer good 'reading' copies at affordable prices. The descriptions of condition are given in good faith, but are fairly basic; we are not professional second-hand booksellers! Note that all books are by Henry Williamson, unless otherwise stated.
Further second-hand titles are added as they become available. PLEASE NOTE that we do not buy books, but instead rely on donations for our stock; all profits are ploughed back into the Society and in maintaining its website. If you have any spare copies of books by Henry Williamson, Richard Jefferies or other related material, please first get in touch with the webmaster.
Under 'Product details' for individual second-hand titles we have generally used the original publishers' blurbs for either the first or other editions, as these are interesting in themselves; while for anyone wishing to delve a little deeper, we have added, where appropriate, a link to Anne Williamson's consideration of the book, together with the background to its writing, in her series 'A Life's Work'.
The postage and packing charge for books sent overseas is based on surface packet rates. If you would prefer your books sent by airmail, please email us for an airmail quotation.
